Who Are We?

WHO WE ARE:
The JRR NPA is a volunteer group that funds in-class enrichment programs for JRR students. Funds are raised through a variety of Community and fundraising events run through the JRR Neighbourhood Parents Association, with the help of many volunteers. Every parent is a member of the Neighbourhood Parents Association or NPA.

100% of the funds raised are invested back into the school to pay for enrichment activities to enhance the learning experience for our children.

Some of the initiatives fundraising dollars support include:
*Literacy and classroom enrichment *Math manipulatives *enhanced STEM learning *Performances in the school *Author visits *Athletic equipment *Well-being initiatives.

WHAT WE DO:
We put the FUN in FUNDRAISING all year long through school-wide events like: *The Back to School BBQ *Pizza Lunch *Spirit Wear *Popcorn Day
*The Holiday Bake Sale *Lip Sync *Freezie Day *JRR FUN FAIR.

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
The strength of our school and community is directly connected to the involvement of parents and guardians. We can’t do it without your help and your kids will love seeing you around the school! There are many opportunities to volunteer. Become an Event Convener, a Class Parent, stop by and serve Pizza Lunch or visit in your child’s classroom as a Volunteer.
